• Receieved his Bachelor, Master and Ph.D Degree from Shandong University, China, Ibaraki University, Japan and Kyushu University, Japan respectively. At present, he is Associate President of Academy of School of Computer & Science Technology of Shandong University，Director of Computer Architecture Institute, Member of Chinese Computer Federation and Member of IEEE. He is an editor of Chinese Journal of Computers, Journal of Software and some international conferences. He also is a reviewer of National High-Tech Research and Development Plan (863) and National Natural Science Foundation. He has own various awards/honors from Ministry of Education, Ministry of Labor and Science Committee of Shandong Province, mainly including Foundation for University Key Teacher by the State Ministry of Education (2001) and Leading Academics and Promising Key Teachers of Shandong University.
• His research grants include National High Technology Research and Development Program of China (863 Program), Project supported by Foundation for University Key Teacher by the Ministry of Education, The Key Science-Technology Project of Shandong Province, Project of Ministry of Labor, Project sponsored by the Scientific Research Foundation for the Returned Overseas Chinese Scholars of Ministry of Education and Projects supported by National Natural Science Foundation from 1995 to 2001.
• He worked as a senior researcher at the department of computer science of Ibaraki Univsity in 1994 and GMD in Germany from Sep. 2000 to Dec. 2003. He is fluent in English and Japanese. His research interests include algorithms, AI, parallel computing, knowledge management and web technology. He has published more than 150 International Journal and conference papers.
